Cant Open Downloads

OK , I can't open downloads (Example Drivers or demos ) they are saved to my desktop.
I see 2 white files with the names of the file on the desktop but when I click to open it asked
What program to use to open (like you have no PDF file program) It started after I install ISO program and or flashed the Bios.

I have removed the ISO program, and another thing just as I click to download anything it says Save as Bianary file .

I also click to find solution from Internet and it takes me to Microsoft and shows PDF file downloads.

Any thoughts ??

I googled it and found some people had a problem with AVG, So I uninstalled it reset than re installed it and it works Now Very Happy

Usually when it says its an ISO. But is just a white file with no meat to it.
This means that the file did not complete download!

Do a check on the file, Alt+Enter or right click and properties. If it has a size to it, then it's prob good unless it is not the size which it was stated to be, like an iso for an OS would be around 4gig say, and you do properties and its 458bytes... that didn't completely download. If it says what program would you want to use to open, usually means that you need a program installed to open it as it has nothing associated to that file type. You would need one of the image burners that SIND mentioned below or like Nero or Roxio, or Creative etc... If you have that , then the file should look like an actual icon and not just a white page.

Anyways it look slike you solved it, but if it happens again or whatever, do a screen shot and paste here so we can see. Alt+printscreen and paste into word or pbrush.

After it was fixed , I did notice as you are downloading a file it will apear as a white Icon folder
but when it is finished it will have its Icon of what ever you dowloaded .But its working now.
